How to Reach the Resort:

  • Tiger Palace Resort is situated at approximately 10 Kms from the Indian Border of Sunauli (District: Maharajganj). All Tablers travelling for the Area AGM need to use this border point to enter Nepal.
  • It is to be noted that all Tablers need to travel by Road to Tiger Palace Resort. There is no need to book flights to Kathmandu or any other Airport in Nepal. Below are the details of the approximate distances from resident Cities to the Destination. It is to be noted that the road condition to the Resort from most of the cities is good so there is no need to worry regarding the road condition.
  • When the Tablers from Kanpur went to Tiger Palace Resort, we took roughly 6 hours to reach the Resort when we left @ 6.00 am in the morning. So all tables can calculate the time roughly based on this information.

Border Document Requirement:

  • It is to be noted that when crossing the Indian Border at Sunauli and entering into Nepal the following documents are required for Individuals travelling by Road:
    • Photocopy of the Registration Certificate of your Vehicle in which you are travelling. Please carry a photocopy of the Registration Certificate. (It will save you time in searching for a photocopy machine)
    • Driving License (Valid) of the individual driving the car.
    • Aadhar Card or Election Card of all individuals travelling
    • There is no requirement of Passport but you can always carry if you want to.
  • It is to be noted that as soon as you enter into Nepal Territory, you need to get a “Behati” made at the border. “Behati” is in simple words a document registering your vehicle entry into Nepal. The counter for Behati is on the left side of the Road (very much visible) as soon as you enter into Nepal. The Behati needs to be made for Bhairahawa
  • Behati is made for a vehicle. You will be Charged INR 20/- for every day. So for the Area AGM, you need to get a Behati made for 3 days which will cost you INR 60/-. You will need to submit a photo copy of the Registration Certificate as well as Driving License Copy to get the Behati. It takes about 10 minutes to get a Behati made.
  • Please keep the Behati with you till you return to India after the AGM. Please do not avoid getting a Behati made as during your return it will be checked and officers may demand penalty for non availability of Behati.

Document Requirement for Hotel / Casino:

  • It is to be noted that the Resort and the Casino allow entry on production of a Valid Aadhar Card or Election Card. If you don’t have these documents then you won’t be allowed entry into the Casino specially. Everyone should carry their Aadhar Cards / Election Cards.
